NVPAS got re-certification from ISO 9001:2000 for benchmarking quality standards in education and research in June 2008 for next three years.

For academic year 2008-09, Shri Himanshu Trivedi, Head of Physics Dept. in the capacity of the Vice-president of College Madhyasth Samiti appointed faculties as ex-officios for nine portfolios of the Samiti and Mr. Jigar Patel of T.Y.B.Sc. (Instrumentation) as the General Secretary of the College on merit basis.

The College is all prepared to get accredited by NAAC in the academic year 2008-09. In the run-up to NAAC visit, NVPAS formed various criteria committees, headed by a core committee that would collectively analyze guidelines, collect and organize data corpus and finally scrutinize the SSR to be submitted to NAAC in due course.

Lately in July 2008, NVPAS signed an MoU with the neighboring village Alarasa for making combined and systematic efforts towards spreading awareness regarding key issues related to health and hygiene, progressive modern education, environment preservation, and social welfare amongst the natives as well as people of surrounding villages.

Under the convenership of Dr. Shweta Joshi of Dept. of Chemistry, NVPAS runs a full-fledged Women Development Cell, which is committed to empower girl students as well as women faculty of the institute.

NVPAS runs Grievance Redressal Cell, which attends to academic and non-academic complaints as well as grievances of students and faculty and strives to redress them in the most efficient manner. The GRC is headed by Mr. Jayaprakash of Computer Dept.
